Your EUR account: receive euros from anywhere in Europe

Your Card-Y Global Account family just grew. Alongside your USD account, you can now open a EUR account with your own European IBAN — receive euro transfers from any bank in Europe, watch them land in the app, and convert to your Card-Y wallet whenever you like.

What you get

  • A personal European IBAN and BIC — share it with anyone who needs to pay you in euros.

  • SEPA transfers in: any European bank or payout platform can send to it. Transfers typically arrive the same business day.

  • Instant visibility: every deposit appears in your account activity with any fees itemized — nothing hidden.

  • Convert to your wallet anytime: move euros into your Card-Y USD wallet at a live exchange rate. The exact dollar amount you'll receive is shown before you confirm — and that's exactly what arrives, usually within minutes.

How to open a Euro bank account?

  1. New to Global Accounts? Complete the short qualification questionnaire in the app (it's free — no application fee). Our team reviews every application; most reviews finish within a few business days. We may ask you to clarify an answer or two — you'll get an email, and the answers to revisit will be highlighted when you reopen the form.

  2. Already have a USD account? Open your Global Account page and tap “Add a EUR account.” A short verification step for European payments may be required — the app walks you through it.

    Also Instant USD Transfers available.

Our USD account now accepts FedNow instant payments alongside ACH and wire — senders in the US can pay you in seconds, around the clock.

FAQ section

Does applying cost anything?

No. The qualification questionnaire is completely free. If an application is declined, an optional paid second-chance path may be offered in the app.

How long does the review take?

Usually a few business days. If we need more information, you'll get an email and the specific answers to revisit will be highlighted in the form.

Whose name is on the IBAN?

Our banking partner. Incoming transfers must match the partner's name — transfers sent under a different name may be rejected and returned to the sender.

What are the fees?

Any deposit fees are itemized inside each deposit's details in the app before and after they apply, and conversion amounts are shown in full before you confirm. No hidden charges.

What exchange rate do I get when converting to my wallet?

A live rate, quoted at the moment you convert. The dollar amount shown on the confirmation screen is the amount credited to your wallet.

How long does a conversion take?

Usually minutes. You'll get a notification the moment it completes. If anything ever needs a second look, our team reviews it and your money stays safe throughout.

Can money be sent back out of the EUR account?

Today the EUR account is for receiving euros and converting them to your Card-Y wallet. We're working on more.

Is my money safe?

Accounts are provided with our regulated banking partner, and every deposit and conversion is tracked end-to-end in your activity history.
