1. Card Issuance Fee
Card issuance fee : $15 USD.
This fee covers the cost of issuing the virtual card only.
It is not added as balance to the card after purchase.Validity period: 1 year from the date of issuance.
Card type: Mastercard.
International acceptance: The card is accepted globally for online payments made in US Dollars (USD), see: Accepted Platforms
Monthly spending limit: $10,000 USD.
2. Transaction Fees
The card has a simple and transparent fee structure consisting of two types of fees.
a. Transaction Fee
When making transactions directly in US Dollars (USD)
A 1% fee is charged on each transaction, with a minimum of $1.
The maximum fee per transaction is $5.
Examples:
Transactions up to $100 → a flat fee of $1.
Transactions of $500 → a 1% fee = $5.
Even if the transaction amount exceeds $500, the maximum fee remains $5.
In short: 1% per transaction, minimum $1, maximum $5.
b. Foreign Transaction Fee
For transactions made in a currency other than USD, an additional fee applies:
1.5% currency conversion fee, plus
Any additional platform processing costs, if applicable.
3. Monthly Maintenance Fee
A $1 monthly maintenance fee is deducted automatically from the card balance.
If there are insufficient funds to cover the monthly fee, the issuing bank will delete the card automatically due to non-payment.
The user can reissue a new card with the same details for only $3, instead of purchasing a completely new card.
4. Inactivity Policy
If the card remains unused for six (6) consecutive months with no transactions,
the card will be automatically deleted from the system.Any remaining balance will be transferred to the user’s Cardy Wallet.
The user can then issue a new card at any time if needed.
5. Annual Renewal Fee
Card renewal fee: $5 USD per year.
This fee applies to renew the card after the first year of validity.
Renewal ensures the card remains active without the need to purchase a completely new card.
